Great eye surgeon. Had my cataract surgery done and lens implant. Very happy with the procedure and the follow up care.

He’s a great doctor and a super nice guy. I should’ve written this review long ago because I got Lasik in 2008, and only now has one eye begun to decrease in vision. It was a very easy procedure, and he made me feel comfortable the whole time. The follow ups were convenient, and I feel like he is always available if I need anything vision related. Thank you for helping me make one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I used to go to an Eye Specialist in Beverly Hills (Optometrix) and they were terrible.

I met Dr. Hecht through a friend several years ago. I work on a computer constantly and need help with taking care of my vision. Dr. Matthew Hecht took over an hour on my first visit, provided me with the highest eye care. He always does all the work himself and has an assistant by his side helping him. He is an expert and great listener! He restored my eye vision, addressed all of my concerns. I now main my vision by seeing him every year.

I trust him and recommend him because he is dedicated to understanding my vision, does not upsell, and my vision has improved tremendously.

Dr. Hecht’s staff provides excellent service, especially when it comes to billing and confirming my insurance coverage. I missed my appointment once and they did not charge me; instead, they were very understanding and booked me for an appointment right away. I have visited the Marina Del Rey and Lawndale locations, both have very professional, friendly, efficient and excellent service.

I’m not easily impressed though I have to say, Dr Hecht is simply amazing !
I’ve been seeing him for years, he has gone beyond the call duty, helping me through eye injuries, cataract surgery, and a pterygium ( surfers eye ) surgery.
I’m forever grateful for Dr Hecht !
And his remarkable staff !
The only thing left is X-Ray vision !

Dr hecht is an excellent doctor, explains things in plain English And Spanish. Procedure went as expected and the results were great.

I just had my second cataract surgery yesterday. Now both my eyes have the sight of my youth. Everything went well and had follow up appointment with Dr Hecht this morning. I'm grateful for the doctor's expertise and his associates at office and Torrance Surgery Center.
